Hello, England! Tour begins next weekend...

Hi all!

Apologies for the dearth of updates recently - the internets are playing silly beggars and it's taking me the best part of the night just to get the penguin family on my iGoogle homepage to start walking about...  Bad times!

Anyway, while it lasts, here is a bit of news for my lovely fans in England!  I will be playing six nights over 8 days around England, south to north, starting in Torquay on 24th September.   Very excited!!

You will get full details of the tour on the "Gigs" page - if you're close to any of these gigs, it would be great to have your support!

Take care, and have a fabulous week.

Love!

Goodbye, Edinburgh...

Hi everyone!

Well, that went by in a flash!  Since my last post, we've played three very fun and very different gigs.  Belladrum was a soggy, beautiful, messy night...  Letham Nights was one of the warmest, most welcoming shows I've played in a long time.  What a great night, and I hope to be back out to play for the lovely people of Letham very soon.

Saturday past was our Edinbugh Fringe show...  and what a night we had!  A handful of minor stresses, but overall we had a great time and I was so humbled by the amazing reception by another great AMC crowd.  You guys were awesome!

Thanks for all the love, and for coming out to support new live music.  And, once all the numbers have been crunched, I hope that we will be able to donate a chunk of cash to the DEC, as was the plan.  Watch this space!

Next up - English tour!  I'm still filling my last few dates, but you'll see the ones that are already in the calendar on the gigs page.  If you're nearby, please come by!

That's all for now - more soon!  Time for tea, biscuit and bed!

Love,

La Vita e Bella (drum, that is...)

Good afternoon, friends!

So, here we are - summer is in full swing (not that you'd know from the Scottish weather!) and we're just about recovered from the album launch!  What a great night, thank you so much to all of you who turned out.  Your support means more to me than you know!

After a bit of a break in July, we're gearing up now for our first festival appearance of the year.  Tomorrow afternoon, we'll be appearing on the Potting Shed stage at Belladrum Tartan Heart Festival, in Beauly, Invernesshire.  We hit the stage at 2.45pm, so if you're going to be at the festival, you know where you need to be!

Next Saturday, 13th August, we will be performing at Letham Nights, a great Americana night in Fife.  If you're in the area, this is one not to miss.  We'll be joined on the night by David Latto and Australian singer/songwriter Chloe Hall.  It's going to be a great night, and we're really looking forward to it.

Finally, but by no means least, we are delighted to be performing at the Acoustic Music Centre again this year, as part of the Edinburgh Fringe.  This year, we have moved into the big room for one night only (!) and will be bringing you a longer show for the same price as last year (and there's proper seats - we're moving away from the school assembly hall vibe we've had the last few years!!)  This is an exciting step for us and we would love to have your support.  If you're going to be around on 27th August at 18:45, get yourself down to the AMC @ St Brides (Venue 123) and join us!  Get your tickets online here.

"Never Coming Home"  is available now from all good record shops (just ask at the counter if it ain't on the shelf!) and online, both for order and download.  Probably your simplest way of ordering, though, is by clicking "Shop" at the top of this very page.  I hope you will, and that you like it when you do!

Have a great weekend, and if you're at Bella, we'll see you there!!!

Lots of love!

Rock n Reel Covermount CD, July/August

If you get this month's R2 Rock n Reel, you'll get yourself a free Un Herd CD on the cover.  On that CD, you will find a track by little old me!

Thanks to Sean and Joan at R2 for their support - I'm very much looking forward to seeing the track on the cover of your fine publication, and a review appearing in September's edition too...

Definitely playing at the Edinburgh Fringe (and not the Edinburgh Fridge)

Freudian fingers, that's what I have...  Always thinking of food.  That's what I am blaming for my repeated hunger-driven typos, anyway.  Either way, I will be playing at the Edinburgh Fringe again this year, for a fourth consecutive year.

Most excitingly, we have cut our "run" back to one night only, and moved the show into the Big Room.  Ambitious, but we are really looking forward to it.

So, if you're going to be in Edinburgh, and looking for a cracking start to the last Saturday night of the Festival, then come along and join us.  Check out the details here...

Not got your album yet?  Remember, you can still get it from "Shop" (the button's at the top of this page, and there are still some numbered copies left if you're quick!), you can download it from iTunes or order from all major online stores.  Record stores on the high street will be able to order it for you too, if they don't have it on the shelves...  No excuses! ;)

If you have bought the album already, I'd be really grateful if you would pop a review on Amazon, iTunes or somewhere - just to let likeminded music fans what you think of it.  Just be nice!

Ok, that's all for now.  Nights!
